August 26, 2025, speaker will be Raquel Mamani from Save Our Schools Arizona. Raquel was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, and is the mother of 17 year old twins. She’s taught for over 20 years in 3 different states, including special education and dual language. She currently works as a Reading Interventionist, in the Madison Elementary School District.. She got involved with Save Our Schools Arizona in 2017, and currently works as a Community Action Team Coordinator for the Central and South Phoenix Area as well as Latino Outreach Coordinator. She is passionate about advocating for schools and is anxious to collaborate with groups who have the same goal!
